Image Resizing:

You can upload images to your website much faster if you resize them beforehand. you can use Picasa, a free image program from Google; or the software that came with your digital camera to resize images. Attempting to upload too many full-size images at once will potentially result in an error.

Image resizing Instructions:

1. after you have installed Picasa, it will ask to scan your computer to find your photos. Go ahead and allow this if you want. What it's done, look through your images until you see the one you want to resize. Click on it.
   
2. Optional: This would be a good time to edit your image using Picasa's easy image editing tools if desired.
3. Click the "Export" button.
4. Choose a location for your exported folder, we recommend "Desktop."
5. Type in the name of the exported folder if you desire.
6. Under "Image size options," Resize to 640 pixels. You can ignore the jpg quality setting, as the default setting is fine.
7. Click OK.
